About Our Class
Meet the Teacher
This is my second year teaching third grade at Village Meadows. Before coming to Village Meadows I worked as Paraprofessional and Instructional Assistant. Additionally, I taught art at the college level and to high school students and adults. I am excited and honored to be at Village Meadows teaching third grade.
I attended Western Washington University and earned a B.A. in printmaking and a B.F.A. in painting. I continued my studies at U.C. Santa Barbara, where I earned an M.F.A. in studio art.
My path to teaching is not traditional, but I am passionate about teaching and learning. I strongly believe that every child deserves a quality education and every child can learn.
In my spare time, I like to kayak and ride bikes with my family. We also enjoy fostering animals for the Arizona Humane Society.
Please feel free to reach out should you have any questions or concerns.
