Hello Families and Students,
Welcome to Second Grade! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this school year! I started teaching at Village Meadows in 2023, and I can't wait for another amazing year filled with learning, laughter, and growth. I graduated from Northern Arizona University in May 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Special and Elementary Education.
Thank you for trusting me with your child's education. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels safe, welcomed, supported, and excited to come to school each day. I believe that mistakes help us learn, so in our classroom we celebrate trying new things, asking questions, and growing together. Watching my students grow and and discover a love of learning is one of the best parts of being a teacher!
Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my husband. We got married in 2023 and enjoy hiking, boating, camping, riding our side-by-side, and spending as much time outdoors as we can. I was born and raised in Oregon but moved to Arizona to attend Northern Arizona University. I quickly fell in love with Arizona and knew it was the perfect place to build my career and call home.
