Hello Families and Students,
Welcome to Second Grade! I am beyond excited about being your child's teacher this school year. This will be my 2nd year teaching at Village Meadows. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelor's degree in Special and Elementary Education May of 2019.
Thank you for entrusting me with your students' education. I look forward to working with you and your child throughout this school year. We will have an amazing year full of learning and growing together as a class. My biggest goal as a teacher is to ensure that your child has a safe, welcoming, fun classroom environment, and we will work hard every day to meet this goal. In my classroom, we celebrate mistakes because mistakes mean we are learning. Your child’s success is my number one priority, and we will work hard every day to succeed individually and as a whole class.
Outside of teaching, I love hiking, boating, and camping. I was born and raised in Oregon, and came to Arizona for college. I loved everything that Arizona has to offer, so I decided to stay and teach in this beautiful state.
